Sergii Khlivnenko has spent 10 years building and managing product and engineering teams in iGaming — across studios, platform providers, and high-growth operators. He has held PO, EM, Agile Coach, and PM roles, often simultaneously. In 2023, he founded Consysteam (Bratislava, Slovakia) to bring custom AI and operational systems to iGaming providers who have outgrown generic solutions. He also built Slotif.ai — a market intelligence platform that gives product teams risk signals at the concept stage, before launch.
Playson's engineering organisation had grown rapidly to 12 cross-functional teams. Delivery was inconsistent, dependencies were unmanaged, and inter-team alignment took days of meetings. Sergii was brought in as Agile Coach to redesign the delivery system from the ground up.
The engagement covered cadence design, PI Planning rollout, dependency mapping across teams, and hands-on coaching for all 12 Scrum Masters and Product Owners. Within two quarters, cross-team velocity increased by 2x and release predictability improved significantly.
Inconsistent Scrum adoption across 12 teams with no shared ceremonies
Introduced a two-tier agile model: team-level Scrum with 2-week sprints, and programme-level PI Planning every 8 weeks. Ran training and coaching sessions for all 12 Scrum Masters. Built a dependency board and inter-team sync cadence. Coached leadership on outcome-based roadmaps instead of feature-driven backlogs.
